Formal Riding Lessons

(approximately one hour) Formal lessons cater for adults and children over eight years. Riders enrol in quartly blocks of lessons which are streamed to progressive levels. These classes are tailored to allow the opportunity to participate in certificate based course.

Pre School and Primary

(approximately one hour) Our younger riders enjoy a fun packed lead rein class, covering the basics of stop, start steer. The parent or caregiver who participates, leading the ponies also gets a fantastic opportunity to improve ground skills. This is an excellent way to gain knowledge prior to purchasing the first pony.

Lead Rein Pony Ride

(approximately 15 minutes) This is a fantastic safe way to have the first experience of pony riding. Ideal for the under eights during school holiday periods. Vouchers are available for Birthdays, Easter and Christmas. Limited places are available on Saturdays.

Advanced lessons

These lessons are suitable for advanced riders. Specialising in Dressage, Show Jumping or Cross Country. Guest Instructors clinics run through out the year. Sandow ‘What’s on’ page gives details of forthcoming Events.
